Brian is a Town and Country Planning Consultant based in Leicestershire. He works across the Midlands (including Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire, Leicester and Leicestershire, Lincoln and Lincolnshire, Northampton and Northamptonshire), in addition to Milton Keynes, London and throughout the UK. 

Brian has worked as a Town and Country Planner since 2005 and is a chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. 

Brian has planning and development experience in residential, office, industrial, retail, education, renewable energy, telecommunications, heritage, urban regeneration and rural development and leisure & tourism sectors. Specialisms include

Brian acts for individuals, businesses, developers, funding bodies and public authorities. Brian advises on planning strategy to negotiate the development process. His project management expertise involves advising clients of, and taking a lead role in, the assembly and management of multi-disciplinary teams towards coordinating, preparing and submitting planning applications. 

What’s Brian’s background?

Brian graduated in 1999 from the Queen’s University of Belfast with a degree in Environmental Planning. He has since gained a diploma in Construction and Project Management and a diploma in Town and Country Planning and qualified as a Chartered Town Planner in 2007.

Prior to joining Marrons in 2008, Brian gained a broad range of experience of Town and Country Planning matters whilst working as a Planning Officer in local government and has additional experience within private sector town planning consultancy in the Midlands.
